RSL at the Armory in Hastings

We will be hosting a third MRCA qualifying combat robot competition at the National Guard Armory in Hastings, MN. The competition will include 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetleweight) weight classes going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.

Tournament Format: Group Stage where 3-1 and better records move into Single Elimination

Sign Ups: There are open spots for 48 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 16 beetleweight (3 lbs) bots, with a limit of 2 antweight bots and 1 beetleweight bot per driver.

Sign up starts June 6th at 10:00AM CST

Date: August 3, 2024 Location: Hastings National Guard Armory America. 586 [3050 MN-316, Hastings, MN 55033]

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided). There will be a couple of TVs to view the fights.

First Place $50 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store
Second Place $25 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store
Third Place $10 gift card to Robot Smashing League’s Store

Food: Minne’s on Glenwood will be back again serving Sliders, Chicago Dogs and Street Polish. El huarache food truck will also be on site with a variety of Mexican food options.

Rough Schedule:

8:00am – Doors Open & Safety Opens
10:00am – Doors Open for Spectators and fights begin
6:00pm - Single Elimination Starts

Entry Fee: $30 per bot

Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules

Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 10am.
