MRCA’s first qualifying combat robot competition of the season hosted by Robot Smashing League. We will be at the National Guard Armory in Hastings, MN. We will have 1 lb (antweight) and 3 lb (beetleweight) robots going head-to-head in an enclosed 8’ x 8’ arena.
Tournament Format: The antweight and beetleweight brackets will be a modified Swiss tournament going down to single elimination.
Sign Ups: There are open spots for 32 antweight (1 lbs) bots and 16 beetleweight (3 lbs) bots, with a limit of 2 antweight bots and 1 beetleweight bot per driver.
Sign up starts January 4th at 10:00AM CST

Venue: Has plenty of space for pits (tables & chairs are provided) please bring an extension cord. There will be a couple of TVs to view the fights.

- 8:00am – Doors Open
- 9:00am – Safety Opens
- 10:00am – Doors Open for Spectators and fights begin
Entry Fee: $30 per bot
Ruleset: This event will follow MRCA rules
Spectators: Spectators are welcome and free to attend and doors open at 10am.
